My journey in computer science started in my freshman year at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and I decided to accomplish a dual degree in computer science and mathematics (with a concentration in applied mathematics) at the beginning of my sophomore year. Passionate about designing and building products, I had project experience in many fields, including computational photography, game design, and web development.
I have had multiple internships in my undergraduate studies. I interned at Mastercard in the summer of my sophomore year, assisting the team in data cleanup, data analysis, and visualization. I joined Zillow’s mobile team to help implement front-end features in its iOS app to increase the shopping experience of buyers and renters. I interned part-time at Signal in the Data Distribution team in my last semester year as part of the Engineering City Scholars Program, adding multiple enhancements in internal tools for animation and visualization. I actively participated in side projects and explored my other interests, like the Innovation Challenge at Mastercard and Hackweek at Zillow.
After graduation, I interned at Airbnb as a full-stack engineer during the summer, where I owned a frontend and an end-to-end project to build internal tools for plus operation team and took ownership from writing design docs to rolling out. I study at Stanford University for my master’s degree specializing in Human-Computer Interaction. In the summer, I joined Citadel where I took full ownership of adding enhancement, refactoring codebase, and daily maintenance to notification services. After graduation, I join Snowflake as a full-stack software engineer.
